I just wanted to share a few items of news.

--my second novel "The Beautiful Miscellaneous" is about to go into galleys and is scheduled for release in June 2007.
--the audio book of "The Mercury Visions of Louis Daguerre" just won a Headphones Award for Best Narration from AudioFile Magazine. (Think Christmas presents for people with long commutes.)
--the paperback version of the Daguerre novel comes out January 9th.
--foreign rights for the Daguerre novel have just been sold in China.
--I will be appearing at the Texas Book Festival this weekend, on Saturday at 11:30. I will be in a panel called "Literary Fiction: Texas' Rising Stars." Go to www.texasbookfestival.org for more details.
